Frequently asked questions

How do I cancel my subscription?
PepCheck Pro is billed through Apple, so cancellation is done in iOS:

Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → PepCheck AI → Cancel Subscription.

You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period. After that you're back on the free tier — your logs and history remain intact.
I subscribed but the app still says I'm on free.
Try this in order:
1. Pull-to-refresh the dashboard.
2. Open the paywall screen — there's a "Restore Purchases" button at the bottom.
3. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
If that doesn't work, email us your subscription receipt (Settings → Apple ID → Media & Purchases → View Account → Purchase History) and we'll fix it manually.
How do I get a refund?
Subscription refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Request a refund here:
reportaproblem.apple.com → sign in → find PepCheck AI → request refund. Approvals usually take a few days.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your logs, photos, scans and personal data within 30 days. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first in iOS Settings (see "How do I cancel my subscription?").
Does PepCheck give medical advice?
No. PepCheck AI is an information and tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping or changing any compound, supplement or program.
Is my data private?
Yes. We never sell your data and never share it with advertisers. Your logs, photos and Apple Health data are encrypted in transit and stored on EU-hosted Supabase with row-level security so only you can read them. Full details on our Privacy Policy.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Under GDPR you have the right to receive a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format. Email support@pepcheckai.com from your account email and we'll send it within 30 days.
Why isn't Apple Health syncing?
Check iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → PepCheck AI. Make sure Weight, Body Mass, and Active Energy are toggled on. If you recently revoked then re-granted access, restart the app once to force a fresh sync.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter the email you registered with. You'll receive a reset link within a few minutes (check spam if it doesn't arrive). If you signed up via Apple or Google, there is no password — sign in using the same provider again.
Which devices is PepCheck AI available on?
iPhone running iOS 17 or later. iPad support is coming. Android is on the roadmap but not currently available.
Will my data move between devices?
Yes. As long as you sign in with the same account, everything syncs automatically across all your devices.
